Families moving into Bristol are being hit by the shortage of primary school places.
The number of four-year-olds in the city has increased considerably each year since 2006, resulting in many infant departments finding all their classes are full.
This means that people relocating or moving within the city are having to wait for places for their children at schools near their homes. Some are initially offered places at primaries three or four miles away.
